EN 1090; EN ISO 3834

The Construction Products Directive 305/2011 requires structural steel and aluminium products to be CE marked to improve free trade across Europe. EN 1090-1 is the new harmonized standard that sets the requirements for conformity assessment of steel and aluminium structural components and replaces the hitherto German norms DIN 18800-7.

For a manufacturer to be able to CE mark their fabricated steel and aluminum load bearing components and structures, they require certification of their Factory Production Control (FPC) system by the accredited Notified Body.

TÜV Eesti OÜ is a Notified Body nr.1526 and performs FPC system initial inspection, certification and the follow up inspections in accordance with EN 1090-1.
